How to get started with your new basic email account
Firstly, when we have created your mailbox, we will give you a temporary password which will be provided through a one time link. This link cannot be opened again once closed, making it a secure way for us to send passwords.
Once you have recieved your temporary password, you will need to log in to webmail to change it, the link for which is below: https://webmail.herts.services/

When you log in, click "Settings" on the left hand side, then "Password"
Put in the temporary password we provided in the "Current Password" field, then create a new one which needs to have at least one number and at least one symbol.

Now, open Outlook. If you already have an account added then you'll need to go to "File" and click "Add Account", if not you can simply enter the email address in the box.
Be sure to also click "Advanced options" and tick "Let me set up my account manually"

Click "IMAP"

Enter the following details:
Incoming Mail Server: imap.stackmail.com
Port: 993
Encryption Method: SSL/TLS
Tick the box next to "Require login using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)"
Outgoing Mail Server: smtp.stackmail.com
Port: 465
Encryption Method: SSL/TLS
Tick the box next to "Require login using Secure Password Authentication (SPA)"

Click "Next" and enter your password in the box. Please note that passwords for these accounts take a while to update, so you may want to wait around 10 minutes after changing your password in webmail to avoid having issues signing in.
If you are having trouble signing in, wait a few minutes and try again, or try re-entering the details.
